Ngayong araw ay patungo na sa Davos, Switzerland ang delegasyon ng Pilipinas sa pangunguna ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. upang dumalo sa World Economic Forum (WEF).
Sa kanyang mensahe, inihayag ng Pangulo na mahalaga ang partisipasyon ng bansa sa WEF bilang isa itong pagkakataon para ibahagi ang mga mahahalagang nakamit ng bansa sa pagsasaayos muli ng ekonomiya at paghihikayat sa mga malalaking negosyante at investors mula sa iba't ibang bahagi ng buong mundo.
Ito ang kauna-unahang in-person meeting ng WEF matapos ang halos tatlong taon makalipas ang pag-usbong ng COVID-19 pandemic noong 2020. Isa rin ito sa pinakamalaking public-private forum sa buong mundo na dadaluhan ng 52 na heads of state.
