Inaprubahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang paggamit ng produksyon ng hybrid rice bilang alternatibo sa mas mataas na pag-aani ng bigas kahapon sa pulong niya sa pamunuan ng SL Agritech Corporation (SLAC). Napag-usapan din ang mga hakbang sa pagpapaunlad ng industriya ng pagsasaka ng bigas sa bansa. Inihain ng SLAC sa Pangulo ang mga rekomendasyon at hinaing ng mga nagtatrabaho sa industriya lalo na ang mga magsasaka mula sa Gitnang Luzon. Inilatag din ng Pangulo ang mga paraan at inisyatibo sa pagtugon sa mga suliranin na kinakaharap ng pagsasaka sa kasalukuyang panahon kabilang ang pagbibigay ng ayuda at paglalaan ng pondo sa pagpapautang sa mga magsasaka.

Sa pangunguna ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., aprubado sa unang miting ng Economy and Development Council ang 10-year extension ng water concession agreements ng Maynilad at Manila Water para matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na suplay ng malinis na tubig sa NCR at karatig-probinsya. Inaprubahan din ang dalawang major infrastructure projects: ang PhP27.7B Farm-to-Market Bridges Development Program, at ang PhP5.1B na Liloan Bridge Construction Project sa Southern Leyte.
