Sa ginanap na ika-5 na miting ng National Innovation Council (NIC) na pinangunahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., inaprubahan ng Pangulo ang NIASD para sa taong 2023-2032. Ito ay naglalaman ng mga plano ng bansa para sa pagsasaayos ng 'innovation governance' at pagbuo ng isang magandang 'innovation ecosytem'.
Ilan sa mga napag-usapan sa nasabing miting ay ang pagpili ng 7th NIC executive member, opisyal na logo ng NIC, awtorisasyon para bigyan ng "per diem" ang mga executive members. Pati na rin ang pag-apruba sa pagkakaroon ng "special power of attorney", mga update sa pagpapatupad ng Section 23 ng Philippine Innovation Act at ang proposal para sa karagdagang plantilla positions sa NIC secretariat.
Nagkaroon din ng oath-taking ceremony para sa mga executive member ng NIC, kung saan nanumpa sina Bb. Ria Liza C. Canlas, G. Mark Sultan D. Gersava, G. Monchito B. Ibrahim, at G. Earl Martin S. Valencia.

In a push for swift action, President Ferdinand R.
