Sec. Bong Go Visits Fire Victims in Cebu City
Sec. Bong Go of the Office of the Special Assistant to the President paid a visit to fire victims anew. This time over at Brgy. Ermita and Tejera in Cebu City on May 10, 2018. He first visited the wake of the two casualties in the fire namely Jovielyn and John Digman. Sec. Go commiserated with Leneta Grecela (aunt) and Elnida Managbanag (grandmother) and extended financial assistance to the bereaved family. Sec. Go then proceeded to the evacuation center located at the Ermita Elementary School where he personally checked the condition of the affected families and individuals. He also led the distribution of the assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Office of the Presidential Assistant for Visayas to the victims. He then continued with his regular swapping of shoe-giving with one of the fire victims. He then gave a message to the victims assuring that the national government is ready to assist them in their recovery and rehabilitation.
