President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos welcomed South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee at the Palace in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Philippines-South Korea diplomatic relations. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. went to Batanes on Friday to personally assist victims of Typhoon Julian. “Kaya’t kami’y nandito para matignan kung ano ba talaga ‘yung inyong mga pangangailangan. At mabuti na lang at bago dumating ‘yung bagyo ay nakapagdala na kami ng libo-libo na food pack. Kaya’t noong pagdaan nung bagyo nakapag-distribute kaagad,” President Marcos said.

Binisita ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang Basco Central School sa Barangay San Antonio, Basco, Batanes, para alamin ang lawak ng pinsala ng Bagyong Julian sa mga pasilidad ng paaralan, maging ang mga hakbang na kailangan para sa mabilis nitong pagsasaayos.
