Hinimok din niya ang ibang kasaping bansa sa ASEAN na sundan ang halimbawa ng mga kabataang Pilipino sa pangangalaga sa kalikasan. Isa sa inisyatibong kasalukuyang pinangungunahan ng sektor ay ang paggunita sa taunang ASEAN Youth in Climate Action and Disaster Resilience Day tuwing ika-25 ng Nobyembre.
