Nagkaroon ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board meeting ngayong Huwebes para sa pagtalakay tungkol sa tentative na listahan ng mga Infrastructure Flagship Projects sa ilalim ng programang "Build, Better, More" ng pamahalaan. Ayon kay NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, nasa 194 na proyekto na aabot sa halagang P9-trillion ang ang nasa kanilang listahan. Ilan sa mga big-ticket projects ay ang Panay Railway Project, Mindanao Railway Project III, North Long Haul Railway, San Mateo Railway, UP-PGH Diliman Project, NAIA or Ninoy Aquino International Airport Rehabilitation Project, Ilocos Sur Transbasin Project, at Metro Cebu Expressway. Tinalakay din sa pagpupulong ang pag-amyenda sa 2013 NEDA Joint Venture (JV) Guidelines. Inaasahang mas mapapadali nito ang proseso ng Public-Private-Partnership at masiguro ang naaayon sa batasat pinansiyal na kapasidad ang mga proyekto.

Prime Minister Anwar reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to assisting the Philippines during times of crisis, underscoring the strength of the ASEAN partnership in responding to regional challenges.
