Sa isang press briefing ng Presidential Communications Office ngayong araw, Marso 7, ipinaliwanag ng DOF chief ang short-term, medium-term, at long-term measures ng pamahalaan sa pagtugon sa inflation kasunod ng 8.6% inflation rate na naitala nitong Pebrero 2023. Ayon kay Secretary Diokno, patuloy na pinapatupad ng pamahalaan ang mga plano upang pababain ang inflation ngayong kwarter katulad ng pagpapalawig ng produksiyon ng mga produktong pang-agrikultura, pagpaplano sa pagbibigay ng ayuda at subsidiya sa iba't ibang sektor, paglalatag ng energy conservation plan, at iba pa.
