Inihayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang kanyang kumpiyansa sa kakayahan ng hukbo ng ika-803 na Infantry (Peacemaker) Brigade ng Philippine Army na buwagin ang mga Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs) sa Northern Samar bago matapos ang taong 2023.
Sa kanyang pagbisita sa Camp Juan Ponce Sumoroy sa Catarman kahapon, Hulyo 14, kinalala ni PBBM ang mga kontribusyon ng brigade upang mapanatili ang kaayusan sa rehiyon.
