Citing their creativity, passion, and spirit that define the nation’s soul, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday honored the winners of the Float Design and Festival Performance Competitions during the celebration of the 126th Independence Day.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. called for stronger teamwork between national and local governments, saying that helping the people should go beyond politics. In a “meet and greet” with newly elected local chief executives on Wednesday, President Marcos assured local government units (LGUs) of his administration’s full support for their programs and initiatives.

Stressing the importance of accessible healthcare, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the turnover of 387 patient transport vehicles (PTVs) to local government officials in Luzon on Wednesday to ensure the safe and timely transport of patients.

Students, teachers, health workers, and local leaders have expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for the free public Wi-Fi initiative, which aims to provide reliable and accessible internet in public places, benefiting schools, barangay halls, and health centers.

With internet access now a basic necessity for work, school, business, and daily life, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday led the grand launch of the Phases 2 and 3 of the National Fiber Backbone (NFB) project, emphasizing the government’s push to deliver fast, reliable, and accessible internet to all Filipinos—especially those in far-flung and underserved communities.

Acknowledging the vital role of the coconut processing industry in driving economic growth and creating local employment, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. personally conveyed his support for its continued participation in national development on Friday.

As part of the administration’s efforts to enhance the Philippines’ fishery production and exports, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday expressed his support for the private sector, particularly those engaged in export activities.

Reinforcing the government’s campaign on inclusive growth and sustainable fisheries development, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday led the turnover of PhP22.85 million worth of livelihood support for fisherfolk in General Santos City and nearby coastal communities.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. reaffirmed the Philippines’ commitment to deepen and strengthen cooperation with Canada, particularly in the areas of trade, defense, and the promotion of regional peace and stability.
