Binigyang-diin ni Sec.Balisacan na sinisiguro ng administrasyon na matugunan ang mga suliranin na kinakaharap ng bansa sa pandaigdigang ekonomiya sa pamamagitan ng medium term fiscal program at ang ilalatag na Philippine Development Plan para sa susunod na anim na taon.
Inanunsyo din ni OPS OIC Garafil na nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos ang proklamasyong idinedeklarang special non-working holiday ang Oktubre 31.

Binisita ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang Basco Central School sa Barangay San Antonio, Basco, Batanes, para alamin ang lawak ng pinsala ng Bagyong Julian sa mga pasilidad ng paaralan, maging ang mga hakbang na kailangan para sa mabilis nitong pagsasaayos.
