PBBM meets with National Assembly of Vietnam President Vuong Dinh Hue in a courtesy call
Sa isang courtesy call, nagkaroon ng isang talakayan si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam President Honorable Vuong Dinh Hue sa Malacañan Palace ngayong araw. Kabilang sa napag-usapan ng dalawang lider ay ang pagpapatatag pa ng ugnayan ng dalawang bansa partikular na sa aspeto ng food security, climate change, defense, at food supply. Inihayag din ni Pangulong Marcos na handa ang ating bansa na makipagtulungan sa Viet Nam para patatagin pa ang ating relasyon. Kamakailan ay kinumpirma ni PBBM ang nakatakda niyang pagbisita sa naturang bansa sa imbitasyon ni Vietnam President Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said Tuesday he would push for the country’s interests in his participation to the 44th and 45th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summits and Related Summits amid the current global and regional challenges.

On the first day of his official visit to Lao PDR for the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to strengthen ties between the Philippines and Vietnam.

The government will continue to ensure that Philippine engagements with ASEAN and other stakeholders will serve the country’s national interest and the well-being of the Filipino people, President Ferdinand R. Marcos said on Tuesday.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on Monday vowed to collaborate with the Philippines in promoting a market-driven economy and achieving mutual prosperity between the two countries.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. reaffirmed the commitment of the Philippines to sustain the positive trajectory of strategic partnership with South Korea.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. called for collaboration between the Philippines and South Korea (SoKor) to achieve prosperity for the peoples of the two nations and promote rules-based international order. During a bilateral meeting at the Malacañan Palace, President Marcos and SoKor President Yoon Suk Yeol agreed to elevate the ties of the two nations into a Strategic Partnership.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos welcomed South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee at the Palace in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Philippines-South Korea diplomatic relations. Following the arrival honors, President Yoon signed the guest book. The leaders then held a brief tête-à-tête.
