Marcos Jr. ngayong araw, March 9, sa pagbubukas ng 2023 National Convention ng Philippine Councilor’s League (PCL) sa World Trade Center sa Pasay City. Sa kaniyang mensahe, naniniwala si PBBM na mahalaga ang suporta ng lokal na pamahalaan sa ilang layunin at hangarin ng kaniyang administrasyon tulad ng pagsasabatas ng E-Governance Act, pag-amiyenda sa Build-Operate-Transfer Law, at pagpapasa ng National Land Use Act, at iba pa. Mahalaga rin aniya ang papel ng LGUs sa pagpapaabot ng tulong sa mga komunidad. Bilang bahagi ng opening ceremony, pinangunahan din ng Pangulo ang panunumpa ng mga bagong halal na PCL national officers at island officers.

Marcos Jr. called for collaboration between the Philippines and South Korea (SoKor) to achieve prosperity for the peoples of the two nations and promote rules-based international order. During a bilateral meeting at the Malacañan Palace, President Marcos and SoKor President Yoon Suk Yeol agreed to elevate the ties of the two nations into a Strategic Partnership.

Following the arrival honors, President Yoon signed the guest book. The leaders then held a brief tête-à-tête.
