Alinsunod sa 8-point socioeconomic agenda at Philippine Development Plan, layunin ng LEP na solusyunan ang unemployment at ang underemployment sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng kalidad na trabaho. Nabigyang-diin sa miting ang malaking oportunidad para sa labor sector sa imprastraktura na itatayo sa ilalim ng Build Better More ng Department of Public Works and Highways. Bukod dito, magbubukas din ang trabaho sa mga industriya ng turismo, kultura, at Business process outsourcing (BPO) sa bansa.
