Nagsagawa ng dalawang magkasunod na press briefing ang Presidential Communications Office ngayong unang araw ng Pebrero kasama ang mga opisyal ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), at Philippine National Police (PNP). Tinalakay ni Asec. Neal Imperial ng DFA Office of Asian and Pacific Affairs ang opisyal na pagbisita ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa Japan sa susunod na linggo at ang ilang mahahalagang aktibidad ng delegasyon ng bansa roon. Ibinahagi naman nina DILG Sec. Benjamin ‘Benhur’ Abalos Jr. at PNP Chief Police General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. ang bagong update na bubuo sa 5-man committee na magsasala sa courtesy resignation ng mga opisyal ng pulisya bilang bahagi ng paglilinis ng kanilang hanay.

Mula sa Laoag, nagsagawa si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ng aerial inspection sa Ilocos Norte upang suriin ang lawak ng pinsala ng mga nagdaang kalamidad, at mabigyan ng epektibong solusyon ang mga pangangailangan ng probinsya pagdating sa disaster resilience.
