Marcos Jr. ang ika-125 na anibersaryo ng "Philippine Independence and Nationhood" na may temang “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan," ngayong araw sa Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park sa Maynila. Sa kaniyang mensahe, inihayag ng Pangulo na isang karangalan ang tumayo bilang kinatawan ng bansa upang ipagdiwang ang tagumpay ng mga bayaning Pilipino na nakipaglaban para sa ating kalayaan at pagsasabuhay ng diwa ng pagkakaisa na tugunan ang kahirapan, kakulangan sa pang-ekonomiyang oportunidad, pagpapabuti ng pamumuhay ng bawat Pilipino, hindi pagkakapantay-pantay, at pagtulong sa mga nangangailangan. Pagkatapos ng kaniyang talumpati, nakibahagi rin ang Pangulo sa Parada ng Kalayaan na isang civic at military parade kasama ang ilang opisyal ng pamahalaan, mga miyembro ng uniformed services, at iba pang stakeholders.
