Sec. Bong Go at the Oath-taking Ceremony of Newly-Elected Barangay Officials in Tarlac
Sec. Bong Go of the Office of the Special Assistant to the President urged the barangay officials of Tarlac and the Tarlaqueños to continue supporting President Rodrigo Roa Duterte's campaign against illegal drugs, corruption and criminality. He made the statement during his attendance to the oath-taking ceremony of the newly-elected barangay officials of the Tarlac Province at the Tarlac Christian College gymnasium in Barangay Culipat, Tarlac City on May 28, 2018 Apart from asking for their support, Sec. Go also warned barangay officials to avoid any involvements in illegal activities citing that the President's campaign is unwavering. When asked by reporters about rumors of his senatorial bid, Sec. Go maintained that he has no plans yet in joining the senatorial race saying that he still has a lot of work to be done for the President.
