PBBM optimistic as Philippines commits to nuclear energy by 2032
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. witnessed the signing ceremony of the 123 Agreement, which signifies a crucial step for the Philippines towards integrating nuclear energy into its energy mix by 2032.
During the ceremony, PBBM expressed enthusiasm for this partnership with the United States, highlighting the potential of nuclear energy to address the country's growing energy demands. He also acknowledged the eagerness of both Philippine and American companies to participate in potential nuclear power projects, underscoring the importance of this collaboration for the nation's energy security and economic growth.

Despite the inclement weather, the Office of the President was able to hand over PhP262.453 million in financial assistance, services, loans and subsidy to farmers and fisherfolk affected by the El Niño phenomenon in Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, and Occidental Mindoro.
