The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has allotted nearly PhP2 billion for the development and construction of Cordillera Region’s major infrastructures.

The government is undertaking more key infrastructure projects across the Mindoro Occidental, Mindoro Oriental, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan (Mimaropa) region to boost its economy, according to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Despite the inclement weather, the Office of the President was able to hand over PhP262.453 million in financial assistance, services, loans and subsidy to farmers and fisherfolk affected by the El Niño phenomenon in Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, and Occidental Mindoro.

Farmers and fisherfolk affected by the El Niño phenomenon in Palawan and Marinduque received a total of PhP952.660 million in financial assistance, services, loan assistance, and subsidies from the government of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board, chaired by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., approved on Monday key changes to the Laguna Lakeshore Road Network (LLRN) Project and other modifications to major infrastructure projects.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Tuesday inaugurated the largest water reservoir project in Iloilo.
