President Rodrigo Roa Duterte makes sixth visit to Marawi City
On President Rodrigo Roa Dutere's sixth visit to Marawi City on October 2, 2017, he led the inauguration of the Bahay Pag-asa Project at Barangay Bito Buadi Itowa that is intended for the residents of Marawi who were internally displaced due to the conflict in the area.
During the President's visit, he witnessed troops from Joint Task Force (JTF) Marawi as they built the bamboo houses. He then gave words of encouragement to the government troops citing that he will fulfill his promise of raising their salaries by 2018 and providing funds for the education of their children. The President also gave out groceries, wristwatches, and sunglasses to the troopers before joining them in a boodle fight.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Tuesday renewed the Philippines’ commitment to strengthening its working relationship with the US in terms of the two nations’ alliance and issues in the West Philippine Sea (WPS) and the Indo-Pacific region.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ordered the Department of Agriculture (DA) to immediately help farmers and fisherfolk affected by Typhoon Carina and Habagat in Central Luzon.

Nagsagawa ng aerial inspection si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa Bataan, Pampanga, at Bulacan upang alamin ang lawak ng pinsala ng Bagyong Carina at ng oil spill mula sa lumubog na MT Terranova.

Binisita ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang mga pamilyang lumikas sa San Mateo Elementary School dahil sa hagupit ng bagyong Carina at habagat. Ininspeksyon din ng Pangulo ang evacuation center at inalam ang karagdagang tulong na kinakailangan dito.

The government is lumping up relief packages needed by local government units (LGUs) affected by Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon (Habagat).
