Sa isang talumpati, inihayag ng Pangulo na ang isports ay isa sa larangang binibigyang-pansin ng administrasyong Marcos-Duterte, kaya't sa pagdaraos ng FBWC sa bansa ay maaasahan ng organisasyon ang buong suporta ng pamahalaan. Ginanap ang huling FBWC sa bansa noong 1978 sa panunungkulan ni dating Pangulong Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.

Nearly PhP200 million in financial assistance to Region 2 farmers, fisherfolk and their families was distributed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday in Ilagan City, Isabela as part of the government’s efforts to alleviate the effects of the El Niño phenomenon on affected individuals.
