President Rodrigo Roa Duterte designated Undersecretary Borje as Special Envoy to special missions aimed at checking the conditions of overseas Filipino workers in North Africa and the Middle East.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. on Wednesday urged business leaders in Brunei Darussalam to seriously consider the Philippines as a prime investment country.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. emphasized on Tuesday the importance of keeping the bilateral ties between the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam strong to sustain peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.

At least three memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and one letter of intent (LOI) were forged between the governments of the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam during the two-day state visit of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to the Sultanate on Tuesday.

Commencing his state visit, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. arrived at Istana Nurul Iman on May 28, 2024 to meet His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. arrived in Brunei Darussalam on Tuesday for a two-day state visit to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the Philippines and the Sultanate.
