Marcos Jr. ang paggamit ng produksyon ng hybrid rice bilang alternatibo sa mas mataas na pag-aani ng bigas kahapon sa pulong niya sa pamunuan ng SL Agritech Corporation (SLAC). Napag-usapan din ang mga hakbang sa pagpapaunlad ng industriya ng pagsasaka ng bigas sa bansa. Inihain ng SLAC sa Pangulo ang mga rekomendasyon at hinaing ng mga nagtatrabaho sa industriya lalo na ang mga magsasaka mula sa Gitnang Luzon. Inilatag din ng Pangulo ang mga paraan at inisyatibo sa pagtugon sa mga suliranin na kinakaharap ng pagsasaka sa kasalukuyang panahon kabilang ang pagbibigay ng ayuda at paglalaan ng pondo sa pagpapautang sa mga magsasaka.
