Sa ginanap na bilateral meeting sa pagitan nina Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at International Monetary Fund (IMF) Maganing Director Kristalina Georgieva ay nangako ang IMF na handa silang tumulong para isulong ang mga polisiya na mas makabubuti sa mga Pilipino. Ayon naman kay PBBM, kinakailangang siguruhin ng Pilipinas ang maayos na pagtugon sa mga pangunahing pangangailangan ng mga Pilipino. Inilahad din niya ang kahalagahan ng digitalization para mas epektibo at mabisa ang paghahatid ng mga serbisyo ng pamahalaan.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led on Friday the grand launching of the National Fiber Backbone Phase 1 aimed to increase internet connectivity service capacity to various provinces, government offices and data centers in the country.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. thanked Prime Minister Christopher Luxon for his dedication to strengthening the Philippines-New Zealand relationship during a state banquet. He also offered a toast to the well-being of the leaders and the mutual success of their governments, as well as to the forthcoming 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties. Prior to the banquet hosted in honor of the Prime Minister, the two leaders also exchanged gifts and posed for a photo session.

The Philippines and New Zealand agreed on Thursday to elevate their bilateral relationship to Comprehensive Partnership by 2026 to deliver real benefits and advance the two nations’ shared security and economic interests.
