PBBM leads the groundbreaking of the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (CBRT) Project – Package 1
Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ngayong araw, Pebrero 27, ang pagpapasinaya ng Cebu Bus Rapid Transit Project – Package 1 sa Fuente Osmeña Circle, isang proyekto ng pamahalaan para sa pagsasaayos ng transport system sa Cebu Province matapos ang halos 20 na taon. Sa kabuuan, ang proyekto ay mayroong 13.8-kilometer segregated lane na may 17 na bus stations, at tig-isang bus depot at terminal na magagamit ng higit 160,000 na pasahero araw-araw. Naglaan ng halos Php 16.3 bilyon na pondo ang pamahalaan para sa buong implementasyon ng proyekto. Inaasahan na sa huling kwarter ng 2023 ang partial operations ng CBRT project habang sa ikalawang yugto ng 2025 ilulunsad ang buong operasyon nito.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. highlighted on Thursday the importance of the historic trilateral cooperation between the Philippines, the US and Japan amid challenges to international rules-based order in the Indo-Pacific region.
