Last week, President Duterte during his regular Talk to the People program stressed that wealthy countries must be held accountable for erratic severe weather events caused by climate change drivers that devastate developing nations like the Philippines. Secretary Borje, also urged developed nations and international organizations to unlock climate financing to developing, vulnerable nations. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led on Friday the grand launching of the National Fiber Backbone Phase 1 aimed to increase internet connectivity service capacity to various provinces, government offices and data centers in the country.
