PBBM leads the sectoral meeting with the economic team and other government departments
Nagkaroon ng pagpupulong si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. kasama ang Department of Finance (DOF) at ang iba't ibang ahensiya tulad ng Department of Agriculture - Philippines (DA), Department of Energy Philippines (DOE), DTI Philippines, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), at DILG Philippines kung saan kanilang tinalakay ang mga hakbang na magpapagaan ng pagtaas ng inflation sa bansa. Bilang pangulo ng Economic Team, nagpresenta ang DOF kay PBBM ng panukalang whole-of-government strategy na makatutulong ibsan ang epekto ng inflation sa ekonomiya at sa mga Pilipino. Kabilang sa tinalakay ang mga main driver ng inflation noong Enero, partikular na ang kuryente, krudo at pagtaas ng presyo ng pagkain at iba pang pangunahing bilihin. Kasama rin sa pinagusapan ang ang pagtaas ng policy rate ng BSP para sa price stability, pagpapatupad ng non-monetary policy, at targeted cash transfer program.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. reaffirmed the commitment to further strengthen relations between the Philippines and the United States for mutual prosperity at the PH-U.S. Business Forum.
The President outlined initiatives aimed at enhancing economic cooperation, and underscored the importance of sustained partnerships in sectors such as infrastructure, semiconductor industry, clean energy, and agriculture. He also expressed eagerness for the upcoming Indo-Pacific Business Forum in Manila.

In his opening remarks during his meeting with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin III at the Pentagon, President Marcos extended his gratitude to the US government for its unwavering commitment and support to maintain peace and order in the South China Sea.
