PBBM meets some of the world’s top CEOs and investment experts during a dinner
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s investment pitch for the Philippines received "a very positive response" from some of the world's top CEOs and investment experts during a dinner hosted for him by Grab Chairman and CEO Anthony Tan at the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. Speaker Martin Romualdez, who was present during the dinner, said "everyone was excited about the Philippine recovery story and agreed that it is the future investor haven for western capital."

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. departed for Manila, concluding his state visit to the Czech Republic. During his time in Prague, PBBM engaged in diplomatic discussions with Czech leaders, focusing on trade, investment, and the welfare of Filipino workers. He also addressed the Philippines-Czech Business Forum to promote Philippine tourism and encourage Czech businesses to invest in the country.

The Philippine government has intensified its collaboration with Czech Republic through the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) to protect rights and ensure the welfare of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in the central European country, President Ferdinand R. Marcos said.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday witnessed the ceremonial signing of memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with Czech business leaders aimed at promoting trade and investment between the Philippines and the Czech Republic.

PBBM outlined the country's role as a host to Tier 1 and 2 aerospace parts suppliers, serving major manufacturers like Airbus. He also discussed the Armed Forces of the Philippines Modernization Program, aimed at enhancing defense capabilities and creating opportunities for defense equipment sales.

PBBM underscored the PH's strong track record in electronics manufacturing and emphasized the significant growth in the IT-BPM industry.
The President highlighted the strength of the Filipino workforce, stating it as one of the country's biggest assets.

Seeking to harness the expertise of the Czech Republic in minerals processing, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. invited Czech companies to invest in the processing of the country’s critical minerals to mitigate the risks of global supply chain disruptions.

In his toast remarks at the Prague Castle hosted by Prague President Petr Pavel and his wife First Lady Eva Pavlová Thursday night, President Marcos highlighted the strong relationship between the Philippines and the Czech Republic.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. held talks with Czech Prime Minister H.E. Petr Fiala to enhance security and economic ties between the Philippines and the Czech Republic. PBBM was joined by Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo, Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Alfredo Pascual, Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil, MNSA, and Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Eduardo Martin Meñez.

From the Czech Senate, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. proceeded to the Chamber of Deputies for a meeting with the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Hon. Markéta Pekarová Adamová. The engagement included discussions on bilateral cooperation, defense collaboration, and economic opportunities between the Philippines and the Czech Republic.
