Nagpatawag ng isang sectoral meeting si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ngayong araw, Abril 18, upang ilatag ang 'whole-of-government' approach' sa pagtugon sa epekto ng tag-init at tagtuyot o ang El Niño phenomenon sa bansa lalo na sa sektor ng agrikultura. Ipinag-utos ng Pangulo sa piling mga ahensya na bumuo ng isang public awareness campaign sa pagtitipid ng tubig at enerhiya, upang maibsan ang epekto ng El Niño phenomenon sa mga komunidad. Kasama sa pagpupulong ang mga punong kawani ng Department of National Defense (DND), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Health (DOH), National Irrigation Administration (NIA), National Water Resources Board (NWRB), at Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage Systems (MWSS).
