PBBM leads the 13th National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board Meeting
Tinalakay sa ika-13 na NEDA Board Meeting ang Philippine Development Report 2023 na iniuulat ang progreso ng pamahalaan sa pagpapatupad ng Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028. Sa pangunguna ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., inaprubahan din sa miting ang pagpapalawig sa Laguindingan International Airport sa CDO at ang mga pagbabago sa RAPID Growth Project na layuning makapagbigay ng hanapbuhay sa labas ng mga lungsod, partikular na sa farming communities.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. held talks with Czech Prime Minister H.E. Petr Fiala to enhance security and economic ties between the Philippines and the Czech Republic. PBBM was joined by Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo, Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Alfredo Pascual, Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil, MNSA, and Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Eduardo Martin Meñez.

From the Czech Senate, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. proceeded to the Chamber of Deputies for a meeting with the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Hon. Markéta Pekarová Adamová. The engagement included discussions on bilateral cooperation, defense collaboration, and economic opportunities between the Philippines and the Czech Republic.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. joined Czech Senate President Miloš Vystrčil for a working lunch to discuss Philippines-Czech Republic relations. PBBM signed the guest book and exchanged gifts with Czech Senate President Vystrčil. Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, and other cabinet officials were also present.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday welcomed the signing of the Joint Communique on Labor Consultations Mechanism between the Philippines and the Czech Republic aimed at establishing a system to discuss areas of mutual interests, including proper procedure in employing Filipino citizens in the Central European country.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Czech Republic President Petr Pavel on Thursday discussed ways to strengthen the bilateral cooperation and multilateral partnership between the Philippines and the Czech Republic.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received arrival honors at Prague Castle during his state visit, followed by a gift exchange and guest book signing.
The ceremony marked the start of diplomatic discussions between the Philippines and the Czech Republic.

After a three-day productive and successful working visit in Germany, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. arrived on Wednesday afternoon (local time) at the Vaclav Havel International Airport for a four-day state visit in the Czech Republic.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. concluded on Wednesday his three-day working visit to Germany where he secured USD 4 billion worth of business deals, and met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and discussed efforts to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.

Concluding his working visit to Germany, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. honored the legacy of Dr. Jose Rizal by paying homage at the Rizal Marker in Jaegerstrasse.
