President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. thanked Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Chief Representative to the Philippines, Mr. Sakamoto Takema, during his farewell call on March 19, 2025. PBBM also welcomed Mr. Baba Takashi as the incoming Chief Representative and looked forward to the continued partnership between the Philippines and JICA in fast-tracking critical infrastructure and development projects.
