PBBM: Filipino workers are the country’s greatest asset

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Saturday hailed Filipino workers as the Philippines’ most significant asset, citing their skill, dedication, and global recognition as key drivers of national pride and progress.

During the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas rally at the jam-packed Batangas City Sports Coliseum, President Marcos reiterated his Labor Day praise for Filipino workers at home and abroad.

The Chief Executive also highlighted that under his administration, the country achieved the lowest unemployment rate in two decades, a sign of improving economic conditions. The crowd cheered and applauded the President.

At the same time, the President also shared a key economic milestone, citing the country’s remarkable labor performance.

President Marcos said the world now views the Philippines with growing admiration and interest.

The President shared his simple reply: “Ang kulang sa inyo, wala kayong mga manggagawang Pinoy—ako mayroon. ‘Yun ang lamang ko sa inyo. Magaling ang aming mga manggagawa. Magaling ang Pinoy.”

President Marcos reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to empower Filipino workers through job creation, investment in skills development, and continued recognition of their essential role in nation-building. | PND
