Q:  Hello, good morning po. From PTV-4, para kay Secretary Panelo. Secretary, may message po ba si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para sa araw na ito dito sa Boracay? Secretary Panelo, yes, may message po ba si Pangulong Duterte para sa opening ng Boracay?   

SEC. PANELO:  Well the message is, he’s very pleased with what has happened in Boracay and in his mind – to my mind, Boracay is a lesson of political will as exhibited by the President and yet, it is also a lesson of neglect and misfeasance and malfeasance in office, because this would not have happened if political will would have been exhibited if only the officials of this place, as well as the stakeholders, operated following the law and the rules and regulations. He stated that it has to take a President Duterte to put things in order and I think that we should all learn from these lessons so that Boracay will become the attraction not only in this country but in the world; it’s a lesson of political will and cooperation among the people in this country.

Q:  Satisfied po ba si Pangulo sa naging outcome… [off mic] and then same question for the secretaries.

SEC. PANELO:  Definitely, the President has commended the secretaries for the evolution and development of this place.
