CELY: Sir, full force iyong mga miyembro ng Gabinete. Iyong support kay Special Assistant to the President Bong Go. Ano po ba ito, initiative ninyo or ito ba ay kagustuhan ng Presidente?

SEC. ANDANAR: Talagang nag-volunteer kami na samahan si Special Assistant to the President Bong Go sapagkat ang Gabinete ni Pangulong Duterte ay united, all for one, one for all po kami at kami po ay naniniwala na dadalhin po ni SAP Bong Go dito sa Senado ang pawang katotohanan and this is the perfect venue for him to address his critics about this frigate acquisition program na diumano’y may pangingialam daw ang Palasyo.

Dito malalaman ngayong araw na ito ang buong istorya talaga dito sa—the fact is that this fantastic Armed Forces of the Philippines Modernization Program. Alam naman natin na wala po tayong frigate at ito ang kauna-unahang frigate, kauna-unahang brand new na frigate. At the same time, both administrations, since this was an agreement that was signed during the Aquino or that was approved during the Aquino administration and signed during the administration—both administrations believe that this is an earth-shaking, that this is an historical project for the Philippine Navy.

CELY:  And he is willing to tell all those… about these controversy?

SEC. ANDANAR:  Lahat po. Si SAP Bong Go will tell all today in this Senate hearing. So maganda po na subaybayan po natin ito sa lahat ng himpilan ng mga radyo at telebisyon para well-informed po tayo lahat.

CELY:  May nakita ba kayong agenda, bakit dinawit dito si Bong Go?

SEC. ANDANAR:  Well of course, merong mga malicious stories na lumalabas. But then  again, this is a free country, democracy and freedom of the press is well and alive at makikita natin na the democracy, not only through the press, democracy not only to the halls of the Senate and Congress but also democracy in speech. Kita naman natin pagpasok natin dito sa loob ng Senado ay napakadaming nagra-rally doon in support of Special Assistant to the President Bong Go. At ito ay nangangahulugan lamang na buhay na buhay po ang ating freedom of expression at buhay na buhay po ang ating freedom of the press dito po sa loob ng Senado, at buhay na buhay po ang separation of powers of the executive, of the legislative and of course the judiciary.
