President signs EO regulating drug prices

Acting Presidential Spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles on Wednesday announced that President Rodrigo Duterte has signed an executive order (EO) that would regulate the prices of drugs and medicines used to address the leading causes of morbidity in the country.

IATF updates testing and quarantine protocols / Apayao now under Alert Level 2

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) approved on Thursday, December 2, 2021, testing and quarantine protocols for arriving international passengers in all ports of entry in the Philippines coming from countries/territories/jurisdictions not classified as a Red List country/territory/jurisdiction. These new protocols shall take effect December 3, 2021.

Gov’t levels up four-door strategy vs new COVID-19 variant

IATF releases new Red List

In addition to South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini and Mozambique, the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) approved on Sunday, November 28, 2021, the placing of Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and Italy under the Red List effective November 28, 2021 until December 15, 2021.



IATF updates testing, quarantine protocols for arriving international passengers

Shorter quarantine and testing periods await international arriving passengers, especially fully-vaccinated individuals coming from Green and Yellow list countries, territories, and jurisdictions with the approved interim testing and quarantine protocols for international arriving passengers that will take effect on November 22, 2021.


PRRD approves IATF-recommended face shields protocols

The use of face shields in areas under Alert Levels 3 to 1 is no longer mandatory after President Rodrigo Roa Duterte approved the recommendations of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) on the use of face shields under the Alert Levels System.
