On Executive Order No. 166

We confirm that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed Executive Order No. 166 on March 21, 2022, adopting the Ten-Point Policy Agenda to accelerate and sustain economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and a whole-of-government approach to align all economic recovery programs and measures of the National Government.


On the January 2022 Labor Force Survey

The Palace welcomes the results of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)’s January 2022 Labor Force Survey showing a decline of unemployed Filipinos from 3.96 million in January 2021 to 2.93 million in January 2022.  This means a decrease of 1.04 million unemployed persons in the country.



On the de-escalation of Iloilo City to Alert Level 1

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Thursday, March 10, 2022, approved the de-escalation of Iloilo City to Alert Level 1 after meeting the prescribed criteria for de-escalation to Alert Level 1 of the sub-Technical Working Group on Data Analytics.
