Rep. Erwin Tulfo advocates excellence in public service

QUEZON CITY – Congressman Erwin Tulfo, known for his dedication to public service, emphasized the importance of striving for excellence in serving the people during the flag-raising ceremony at the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) yesterday, May 13, 2024.

Tulfo stated, “We, as government employees, should strive for excellence in serving the people.”

He stressed the significance of commitment, efficiency, and accountability of government employees in fulfilling the duties entrusted to them by the public.

His presence at the ceremony highlighted his ongoing efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and integrity in government service. Tulfo’s words resonated with attendees, inspiring them to rededicate themselves to their roles as public servants.

DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III warmly welcomed Tulfo and expressed gratitude for his words of encouragement. Estrella pledged to uphold the standards of excellence of the department, echoing Tulfo’s sentiment that serving the people should always be the top priority.

Tulfo was the former Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary and broadcaster before he took the seat of ACT CIS Rep. Jeffrey Soriano, who resigned in 2023. Tulfo is the party’s 4th nominee. ACT-CIS won three House seats after gathering some 2.1 million votes during the May 2022 elections.
