PBBM leads the nationwide celebration of ‘Araw ng Kalayaan’ in commemoration of the 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence Day
Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang ika-125 na anibersaryo ng "Philippine Independence and Nationhood" na may temang “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan," ngayong araw sa Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park sa Maynila. Sa kaniyang mensahe, inihayag ng Pangulo na isang karangalan ang tumayo bilang kinatawan ng bansa upang ipagdiwang ang tagumpay ng mga bayaning Pilipino na nakipaglaban para sa ating kalayaan at pagsasabuhay ng diwa ng pagkakaisa na tugunan ang kahirapan, kakulangan sa pang-ekonomiyang oportunidad, pagpapabuti ng pamumuhay ng bawat Pilipino, hindi pagkakapantay-pantay, at pagtulong sa mga nangangailangan. Pagkatapos ng kaniyang talumpati, nakibahagi rin ang Pangulo sa Parada ng Kalayaan na isang civic at military parade kasama ang ilang opisyal ng pamahalaan, mga miyembro ng uniformed services, at iba pang stakeholders.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr. on Tuesday at Malacañan Palace to discuss the department's new projects. Among the projects presented during the meeting were the Department of Agriculture's plan for a cold storage expansion project and the establishment of food hubs in strategic locations nationwide.
