President Rodrigo Roa Duterte Meets with Rescued Policewomen
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte met with the two kidnapped policewomen who were presented to the President at the Tactical Operations Group (TOG)-11 in Davao City on May 19, 2018 following their rescue.
Police officers PO3 Benierose Alvarez and PO1 Dinah Gumahad were presented to the President after they were rescued through joint efforts from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Moro National Liberation Front. The two were kidnapped last April 30 by a certain Adiang Adiang whom investigators suspect are connected with the Abu Sayyaf Group.
Joining the President during the presentation of the rescued police officers were Sec.
