President Duterte meets Korean envoy in Palace courtesy call


South Korea’s ambassador to the Philippines Han Dong-Man paid a courtesy call on President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Monday, November 18, at Malacañang’s Music Room.

Ambassador Han first presented his Letter of Credence to President Duterte on January 17, 2018, introducing his plan for the Philippines geared towards boosting investments.

Recently, the South Korean envoy pitched for the creation of a “Korean town” in Malate, Manila in coordination with the city government.

Ambassador Han was accompanied during Monday’s event by Minister-Counselors Kim Jang Hyun and Kim Sunyoung, KEPCO Philippines Holdings Inc. President and CEO Jung in Kim and Korean Air Regional Manager and General Manager Cheol Lee.
