IATF recommends current ECQ to stay in NCR, Region III, Region IV-A, and other high-risk areas

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) on Thursday, April 23, recommended to maintain the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the National Capital Region, Region III, Region IV-A and all other high-risk areas up to May 15. PRRD set to decide ECQ fate

The President is set to decide on the extension or possible lifting or modification of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) based on the recommendations of medical experts and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).


No recommendation of total lockdown by experts– Palace

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte met with former secretaries of the Department of Health (DOH) and other medical experts yesterday, April 20, to listen to their recommendations on what to do after April 30, or the last day of the extended Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).



Palace to LGUs: Strictly enforce ECQ
